so since the last post i have found my way onto the drake song that von is on. if you read the comments you will see that tia said he is the guy who plays jimmy on degrassi, and von said he is in a wheelchair on the show. all i know is dude is nice as shit on the mic. i wrote a dope ass verse but didnt get to record it because i ended up going to see the roots and lupe. the homie hit me up while i was mcdayjobbinit and asked if i wanted the extra ticket they had... HELLS YES. so i mobbed down there and caught the middle of lupes show.

dunno if you ever saw lupe live but we had the honor of sharing the stage with him prior to the release of Food N Liquor. his show was good back then and i enjoyed it but seeing him last night, maybe its because he is opening for one of the greatest hiphop shows in the world, or maybe its because he has done alot of shows since that day but what i saw on that stage last night was a dude who has really REALLY came into his own and has thoroughly polished his showmanship. son murdered it...

the roots did their thing as usual, i mean if you have seen the roots you know pound for pound they give one of the best shows on earth. ive porlly seen their show somewhere in the double digits by now nad its always a favorite. i had to bounce out towards the end cus i was TIRED as fuck. but thought is so damn underrated. watchin their show and lupes gave me a few ideas for the BKLYNATI set. that is if we ever get to do another string of shows...

okay imma go look for festivals or someshit, we gotta get back on the road.

ps - i been thinkin about postin up a song or two from watermelanin and explaining it, should i? i dont think anybody will really get the joke aside from the ppl who were there and hte homie sandy...
