my job vs my career

as you may or may not know while i do have a career in music, i have a job that supports that career in music. i have never made any bones about it and actually built this blog around chronicling(sp?) it. thats just how it is ppl, shit most artists (music and otherwise) have jobs. its just that music is supposed to be some glamourise (i cant spell for SHIT today) all expenses paid joyride. well its not. what i do and countless others is no different from what say a painter, sculptor or potter does. work in the day and create in the evenings/night. baby gotta eat (c) kast.

that said i have decidely chosen to give my blog more of a slant towards music and its trappings. self realization folks, talk it like you live it. food for thought buffet and im tryin to eat to live right?

still recently i have not said ANYTHING about my 'job' i have begun to discuss it but i havent for several reasons but none that really matter. so i leave the direction of this blog up to you, the readers. its startin to get (q.u.) hectic up in here (up in here) and i kinda wanna air some greivances without diminishing public perception. yeah i know what ppl think doesnt really matter but try tellin that to a guy who comes to my show to see a rapper rap vs an administrative assistant rapping lol

anonymous or not do you want me to tell both sides of the story or only expose the glory? i mean regardless imma be givin 2 scoops of the real regarding these mic checks but i wanna know should i talk about the paychecks while im at it.

please respond accordingly in the comments section. yay, neigh or indifferent. this is an interactive blog, i talk you listen, you talk i listen.

meanwhile imma go find something to soothe this lactose inspired bubble in my stomach. mocha chip frappacinos are good, but they hurt

i like it all.

i think my first entry was when you were still in d.c. and ole dude was soo drunk that he fell face first on the concrete(laughed my ass off)...

so with that said...it would not be right if we didn't get the really deal.

Randy stole my answer! but yeah, I think hearing both sides keeps the rest of us poets/sculptors/random dreamers encouraged to bear thru our day jobs but keep working on the things we really love.
