You know what...

Fuck bein cool.

Its fashion week here in nyc and I just so happen to be in bryant park watchin all the pretty ppl strut and get they overpriced accesory on. I can't lie I was gawking at certain peices/people but that's aside the point. I spotted some dope shit.

This feels like its gonna be rambly so lemme pull my thoughts together...

Okay basically I don't think I wanna be cool, well not the store bought variety anyway. if cool is the culture now then my counter culture sensibilities say that I don't wanna be that. Of course this sentiment transcends clothes but at a certain level it doesn't. At least not for me.

I won't even begin to get into how I feel this whole thing reflects in music but I will say this, safe music is boring. A lot of times after innovation comes the watered down 'inspired by' copycatting and guess what, that shits boring too.

This post is not about dissing scenesters, cool kids, hipsters or anybody in particular. I like to watch fashion and the cultures behind it and all that but I don't tend to let it dictate my identity so much.

Blah blah bliggity blog loggin blah...

The orange bike in the picture is some dkny promo shit that mocks the white bike phenomena of nyc (at least that's what I think) regardless its a waste of good bikes.

(This dude TiRon is dope... really fucking dope. Wow cali is bringin heat this year!)

((Niggas, fashion week is some fun shit to look at))

i been on that anti-cool shit since "cool" became being anything other than yourself.

living, breathing and experiencing life doesnt come with a marketing scheme.

but i guess enough niggas that matter think im "cool" for who i am, so that's alright
