MC DAYJOB

so i have writers block of sorts and this ALWAYS happens when i settle into my environment, once the changes become permanent i tend to not be as inspired by my surroundings. today as i waited for the cableman to install my internet (FINALLY) i was thinkin maybe i should record but i then realized i dont really have the urge to write/record. this is a very tragic turn of events people. im not saying it wont come back and im not even sayin i wont force myself to do it (because sketchpad does have a deadline in my mind believe it or not) im just saying that i dont really feel like recording, i feel like spazzing, loafing, etc..

im going to put myself on a strict song a week schedule, that may not seem like a lot but for me to nail down a concept, pen the lyrics and record them is well; its a feat(sp?) simply becasue im so scattered ill do a verse here, a hook there and then be all spent creatively.

in other music news ILWIL has decided on a direction to go with fat jon. the album tentatively titled 'fivehundredthirteen' will feature remixes of previous unreleased ilwil recordings and some new songs. im kinda more excited about this than i am sketchpad at this point.

who knows, i may work on something when i get home...
